Cardó — Valencia Wool Finishers is a lightweight Ivory crewneck sweatshirt featuring a compact, charcoal botanical engraving on the front. Inspired by the cultivated teasel used in traditional cloth finishing, the design brings a working craft into a restrained everyday layer.
The single-ink artwork uses a naturally asymmetric seed head, recurved hooked spines and open space. No printed words, oversized back graphic or imitation guild seal.

The design
An original, single-stem illustration of the cultivated teasel (Dipsacus sativus). Its elongated form and curved hooks are reinterpreted as a quiet, contemporary botanical engraving rather than a historical replica.
Story
In Valencia, traditional wool finishers — the peraires — formed part of a skilled textile-making culture. Dried cultivated teasel heads were historically used to raise the surface nap of wool cloth. Cardó takes inspiration from that relationship between a natural tool, craft and clothing; it does not reproduce a documented guild emblem.
Care
Machine wash cold, maximum 30°C / 90°F. Wash with similar colors and inside out when appropriate. Use non-chlorine bleach only when needed. Tumble dry low. Do not dry clean. Do not iron directly over the printed artwork.
