Sustainability at ToldPrint™
Made responsibly. Worn consciously.
Practical, transparent, and continuously improving. We design with purpose and produce on-demand to reduce waste and protect the Mediterranean we celebrate.
Our principles
- On-demand first: we produce only what is ordered to limit overproduction.
- Longevity: durable blanks, clean graphics, and care-friendly construction.
- Traceability: we work with vetted partners and publish what we can verify.
- Local-first logic: production is routed closer to the customer when possible.
Ethical production
All ToldPrint™ partners operate under ethical labor and environmental standards. We collaborate only with facilities that maintain fair wages, safe workplaces, and transparent supply chains.
- Compliance with local labor laws
- No forced or child labor
- Safe working environments and diversity commitments
- Partner-led audits and ongoing performance reviews
- Transparency around sourcing regions and materials
Sustainability begins with respect — for people, craft, and the communities behind each product.
Materials
Materials are selected for durability, comfort, and reduced environmental impact where feasible.
- Cotton blends: chosen for hand-feel and everyday longevity.
- Embroidery & inks: industry-standard threads and low-impact inks where available.
- Certifications: when listed (e.g. OEKO-TEX®, US Cotton Trust Protocol), they are supplier-documented and product-specific.
We avoid blanket claims. Certifications are applied only where they can be verified.
Production
- Distributed on-demand network: multiple facilities reduce transport distances.
- Quality controls: stitch density, colorfastness, and shrinkage checks per partner SOPs.
- Responsible handling: misprints are minimized; reuse programs applied where available.
Packaging
- Right-sized mailers: less void fill and lower shipping weight.
- Paper-first approach: recyclable paper or cardboard when possible.
- No excess: only essential inserts and care information.
Footprint & KPIs
- Made-to-order rate: ≥95% of items produced on-demand.
- Defect rate: ≤1.5% remakes (quality or transit-related).
- Local routing: ≥70% of orders fulfilled in-region.
- Packaging: ≥80% recyclable mono-material shipments.
These targets reflect current goals and evolve as our supply network improves.
Roadmap
- Material transparency: expand item-level composition details.
- Repair & care guides: practical longevity resources.
- Lifecycle insight: introduce estimated lifespan data where available.
- Take-back pilot: explore small-scale reuse initiatives.
